Pat and I took Pete for his first haircut today. It’s hard to believe he is old enough for one, but his mullet hair was getting a little bit out of control, so we decided it was time.
He was okay with things at first:
But then decided that perhaps this wasn’t such a good idea after all:
Luckily, there were animal crackers on hand and they made everything better:
Pete ultimately survived unscathed. I was so nervous that I’d be devastated to see him without his curls, but he looks too cute to be that upset. I miss them, and miss his baby look already. But he is one handsome little boy!
And just when I think there’s no way he could be any cuter, somehow, he is.
Captain America couldn’t be any cuter! What a handsome little guy. Haircut pics are adorable.

Aunt Kristen & Uncle Shay
Animal crackers can make almost any scarey situation better. Pete is simply adorable—with or without his curls :). Nana and Grampa love his new “big boy” look! Can’t wait to check out his new look in person.
Love and Hugs,

Those tears break my heart! But I’m glad Pete is easily comforted/distracted by animal crackers (aren’t we all?). At least his curls won’t frizz in the summer heat like his Auntie Liz’s! What a handsome little man 🙂
Pete is adorable with or without his curls. I can’t believe he’s old enough for a haircut. Where did the time go? I love you all!
Mom
He looks a lot like Pat in this pics! Too cute! Both my girls cried at their first haircut too.
That’s where I took Nia for her first haircut and she had the same lady! Cute! He is so adorable it was great getting to talk to him today. He is such a charmer and I can’t stop laughing at his pronunciation of “cah”
Love the before and after. Such a handsome lil man!!!
XOXOXO”S to a VERY handsome little boy! The first haircut is a traumatic event for both child AND mom.:) So glad that animal crackers were there to work their magic!
with lots of love,
Great Nana
